LuckySap is the season log for maple sugarmakers — with a sap-flow forecast built on the rule every sugarmaker knows: freezing nights, thawing days. Check the flow outlook for today and the next two days, log what the buckets brought in, record every boil, and watch the season add up: gallons of sap, gallons of syrup, your best day, and your sap-to-syrup ratio. FREE • Save one sugarbush location and its season tap count; manual place search works without GPS permission • Seasonal Dashboard with recent logs, sap and syrup totals, and regional planning guidance • Faster logging with optional remembered values and measurements from your last entry • September–August seasons keep autumn and spring records together • Free 3-day sap forecast, including today, scored from your local freeze-thaw temperatures • Evening heads-up (optional) when tomorrow looks like a strong run — empty the buckets tonight • A reminder when sugaring season is about to open where you tap, and another on opening day (21 maple states and provinces) • Log every sap collection — date, gallons or liters, sugar reading, taps collected, notes • Track boil sessions & yield — sap boiled, syrup made, hours on the fire, USDA grade, notes • Season stats — totals, first and last collection, best day, average sugar, sap-to-syrup ratio • Records & year-over-year comparison across every season you log • Achievements, from First Tap to Sugarmaker • Sugaring 101 reference guide — when to tap, drilling the tap hole, reading the weather, boiling down, knowing when it's syrup, filtering, and grading • Export collections and boils to CSV • Full backup and restore, including saved photos, costs and preferences • iCloud account status and observed log-transfer activity • English and French (Canada) PREMIUM • Record boil fuel and other costs, plus season expenses; totals stay separate by currency, with recorded cost per unit of syrup and per tap when a season count is available • Extended sap-flow forecast beyond the free 3-day outlook — plan your boil weekends in advance • Syrup yield predictions for every collection, from its gallons and sugar reading, using the updated Rule of 86 (University of Vermont, 2013) • Daily sap chart — every collection day on one chart; tap a bar for that day's detail • Bucket & syrup-color photos on every collection and boil session GOOD TO KNOW • Cost summaries include only what you record, not profit or a complete cost of production. Previously recorded costs stay readable, removable and included in free backups after Premium expires. • The forecast is a planning aid built from the weather forecast, not a promise. Trees don't read forecasts. • Yield predictions are estimates. Your evaporator and your finishing point decide the final number. LuckySap Premium is an auto-renewing yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. About

Syrupy

Several years ago, my wife and I started doing hobby-ish maple syrup production (~100 trees). Being an old software developer, I decided that instead of making paper notes throughout the season, I’d come up with an iPhone app that tracks things for me (because software developers have never seen something that they didn’t want to write an application for). Syrupy contains functionality that I (and some others!) find useful: - Monitor production records, sap collection volume, brix, and syrup grades over time. - Track your maple trees on an interactive map. - Record tree details including diameter, spiles, and health status. - Organize trees into groups and automatically calculate path distances to optimize your collection routes. It's free and I have no intention of trying to make money on this. It’s a fun project where I’ve been able to try things like high-accuracy GPS, route mapping, etc, and I intend for it to remain fun. If it's helpful to you, let me know. Happy tapping!
