About

Oxygen Coach

Features

Oxygen Coach helps cyclists, triathletes and runners track their altitude training. Log sessions, nights in an altitude tent or room, and camps in one place, and get a short summary of last night each morning. Connect Oura and Apple Health, and share what you choose with your coach. Coach accounts are free. WHAT IT DOES • Every night and session at altitude, logged. Record the altitude and the hours for a tent, an altitude room, a camp or a training session. A Box Altitude sensor suggests each night for you to confirm; otherwise it takes seconds by hand, with your night's times from Oura or Apple Health. In metres or feet. • TODAY, every morning. One card at the top of Home: what happened last night and, when there is something to say, what changed and one thing to do today. When a morning notification arrives, it says the same thing as the card. • Read against your own numbers. Your overnight HRV, lowest sleeping heart rate and SpO₂ are placed within your own range from the past two years. On a night at altitude, a lower SpO₂ and HRV and a higher sleeping heart rate are the expected response, and your HRV is also read against your own nights near that altitude once you have eight or more of them. • Advice that waits for a pattern. HRV advice appears only after three low nights in a row, even allowing for the altitude, and it only ever suggests holding or easing off, never going higher. • Plans built back from your date. Choose a race, an event or an expedition and its date, and Oxygen Coach builds the plan backward from it, raising the altitude in small steps. • Guided sessions. Repeated sprints to train at altitude, with a full-screen guided runner set up from a published study protocol (Faiss and colleagues, 2013), plus sauna, heat suit and cold plunge timers with interval mode. Save any session to repeat it. • An AI coach that knows your log. Ask "What should I do tonight?" and it answers from your own sessions and nights. FOR COACHES • Coach accounts are free. Create a coach profile and get your own coach code to share with your athletes. • Athletes enter your code and send a request to connect. They choose exactly what you see, and can stop sharing at any time. • Apply for a "Verified coach" badge that athletes see when they enter your code. • Propose sessions for an athlete to accept into their plan. Open any athlete who shares their nights to see their morning. CONNECTS WITH Oura, Apple Health and Strava bring your data in automatically, and the Box Altitude sensor sends each night for you to confirm. HONEST BY DESIGN Oxygen Coach is built on published research and your own numbers. It won't promise results it can't back up, and where the evidence is thin, it says so. Try the whole athlete app free in Demo Mode before you connect anything. The AI coach and plans built back from a date are part of Pro. Elite adds checkpoints for lab test results you enter yourself. Logging, the TODAY card and coach connections are free. Oxygen Coach is a training and wellness tool, not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
