Unlike traditional field-oriented fertiliser monitoring and management systems that merely concentrate on monitoring and analysing environmental data for fertiliser advice, this is a farmer-oriented precision farming application integrating data from farming activities and environmental information. It delivers an interoperable mobile-cloud system to support intelligent soil health protection, sustainable fertiliser management, and intelligent pest/disease management. Main Features: Monitoring Farming Activities: Track daily farming activities and receive science-based fertiliser recommendations. Data Fusion and Visualisation: Support effective data fusion from multiple farming resources with enhanced visualisation tools. Mobile-Cloud Platform: A platform that integrates data sensing, fusion, and analysis to enable wide-reaching decision-making. Lightweight Pest Quantification Techniques: Incorporates optimised lightweight AI models for rapid and accurate pest quantification on mobile devices, even in remote areas with inconsistent network coverage. Robust and Effective Pest Quantification: Features a novel board learning data fusion algorithm AI model for effectively fusing hybrid and local activity data with contextual information. This ensures high accuracy and robustness in pest detection and recognition in natural environments. Sustainable Pest Management Solution: Provides forecasting for acceptable pest thresholds and estimates the efficacy of pesticide use after detecting wheat pests. This supports efficient and sustainable crop protection, which is of immense economic and ecological significance for global food and feed production.
