Swap Night

Swap Night runs your White Elephant gift exchange on one phone. Add the players, pick the house rules, and let the app keep track of whose turn it is, which gifts can still be stolen and who is holding what. You get to laugh along instead of refereeing. Whether your family calls it White Elephant or Yankee Swap, the steal-a-gift game gets confusing fast once a few presents have changed hands. Swap Night keeps it fair and keeps it moving. Set up the party - Add players with a name and a color. - Choose how many times a gift can be stolen: 1, 2, 3 or unlimited. - Freeze a gift after a set number of steals. - No immediate steal-backs: the gift just taken from you is off limits on your next move. - Player 1 gets a final swap at the end of the game. - Add an optional turn timer of 30, 60 or 90 seconds, plus a note about the gift budget. Reveal the turn order An animated shuffle draws the order in front of everyone, so nobody can say the list was rigged. Play the game On each turn, the current player opens a new gift or steals one. When a gift is opened, log its name, the giver if you like, and a photo from the camera or your library. Stealable gifts are listed for you, frozen gifts are locked, and a player who was just robbed goes next right away. Steal counters and frozen badges update as you play, and Undo is there for a mistaken tap. Gift board See every opened gift in a grid with its current holder, its steal dots and whether it is frozen. Secret Santa draw, without emails Planning a name draw instead? Add participants, set exclusions for couples or households, and note the budget and the exchange date. Swap Night draws names so nobody gets themselves or an excluded person, and it tells you plainly if your exclusions make a draw impossible. Then pass the phone around: each person taps their name and holds to see their match, which hides again when they let go. The app shows who has already looked, and a redraw always asks for confirmation first. No accounts, no email addresses and no server. Recap card When the game ends, a recap card shows who went home with what and which gift was stolen the most. Share it with the group as an image. Party history Look back at past parties and where every gift ended up. Free and Premium Swap Night is free to download, and the free version runs a complete party: up to 8 players with classic White Elephant rules, a Secret Santa draw for up to 8 people with exclusions, the recap card, and your last party saved. Swap Night Premium adds unlimited players, the Dice Swap game and custom rule presets, full party history, gift photos on the recap card, and extra themes. Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, and you can cancel anytime in Settings. Dice Swap A Premium variant with our own rules: each round, a virtual die decides whether you open, steal, swap left, swap right or skip. Private by design Your players, gifts and photos stay on your device. Swap Night has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and it works without an internet connection.
