Ad Gate provides strong ad blocking for Safari, including display ads, pop-ups, trackers, intrusive page elements, and many YouTube ads where Safari extensions can intercept them. Ad Gate is an extension-only utility. It does not keep a companion app running in the background. Safari activates its declarative rules and small page helpers only when needed. Release bundles measure under 25 MB on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Filtering stays on your device. There are no accounts, analytics, telemetry, advertising SDKs, or browsing-history uploads. Its update mechanism accepts only cryptographically signed network-rule updates. Enable Ad Gate in Safari, allow access on all websites, and browse normally. Some ads, including those inserted into the same encrypted video stream as requested content, may not be removable by a Safari extension without risking playback.
