Know what to practice when you open the case. Virtunity has been redesigned around the work between lessons. Keep your practice plan, music, tools and private teacher connection together on iPhone. Built by a band director and private instructor for music students ages 13 and up, it helps you organize your practice and prepare for auditions. PRACTICE WITH A PLAN Open your teacher's assigned plan, or choose a Method Book exercise to practice on your own. Read the directions, work through each step and finish the session to save your progress. Keep your music, tempo, repetitions and notes beside the work, then review what you did before your next session. REBUILT PRACTICE TOOLS Use the tuner, metronome and drone inside each practice step. See your note and how sharp or flat it is, set a reference pitch, adjust tempo and choose the beat subdivisions you need. Refined pitch tracking and retuned reference sounds support focused work on intonation. Add typed or spoken practice notes and record a final take to listen back. A PRIVATE CONNECTION WITH YOUR TEACHER Connect through your teacher's invitation. Your teacher can assign a plan and lesson materials, see completed work and weekly practice summaries, and listen to a take you choose to share. Saved practice recordings are private. Your connected teacher can listen only to takes you choose to share. For teachers, Lesson Mode connects the lesson to the next practice session. With permission, record a lesson. With explicit permission for OpenAI processing, request a practice-plan draft from the lesson text. The recording itself never goes to OpenAI, only the text, with the student's and teacher's names, email addresses and phone numbers removed first. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models. Review the draft's summary and practice steps, make corrections there, and publish it to your student. Teacher accounts are free. AN EARLY PREVIEW OF THE VIRTUNITY METHOD Try a very early preview of the Virtunity Method. Work through the available exercises and return to your saved progress. This is the beginning of the method, with more to come as it develops. MUSIC AND REVIEW Keep imported music and assignment materials in your Music Library. Turn your phone sideways for a wider view. Listen back to saved takes, revisit your notes and bring questions to your next lesson. Scale Checker confirms scale notes on your iPhone. It checks notes, not tone, rhythm or a complete performance. Short rhythm and skill modules in the Lab give you more ways to work on fundamentals and will grow alongside the Virtunity method. STUDENT SUBSCRIPTIONS One complete student plan: $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year in the U.S. Eligible new subscribers receive the first month free.
