Sun Bath answers one question with precision: when will sunlight actually reach a window? Drop a pin on the map, aim the dial the way your window faces, and Sun Bath computes the exact minutes of direct sun. Made to help maximize sunlight for those with seasonal affective disorder, for plant owners, apartment hunters, photo and videographers, or just wanting to be where the sun is for whatever reason! Open the app and the first thing you see is when the sun arrives on your window, and how long it stays. – Pro tip: On the Today tab, scrub the day arc to see exactly where the light will land at every hour. For plants: Name a window for any plant. One tap ranks every spot in the house by who has sun right now and for how long. The Seasonal tab shows each window's whole year of light, so you'll know the sill that is perfect in June but dim in December before your plants do. Seasonal/Yearly light information: The Seasonal heat map lays out your window's entire year at a glance, paired with typical monthly warmth for your area. Explore light around the world!! Ask the bigger questions: Where in the world has the best weather today? Where has the most warmth? Where are the days the longest? – Browse curated cities ranked by real climate data – Search almost any town on earth, each one showing its distance from your window – Or stay close and ask within 100 miles of home, ranked by the live forecast Pet companion: Choose a dog, a cat, or a bit of both! They react to your real sun and weather: basking when the light is on your window, dozing through grey days. Reminders that work while the app is closed: Choose the windows you care about and a reminder arrives just before the sun does: "Sun arrives in 20 minutes and stays until 3:55 PM." Every sunbeam is computed on your device using solar geometry, so Sun Bath works anywhere on Earth, even offline. Weather and UV come straight from Apple Weather. *Note: calculated sunlight times assume a clear view of the sky, so a tree or the building next door can shorten them. Whether you're placing a monstera, sizing up an apartment's real afternoon light before you sign a lease, timing golden hour, or just deciding where to drink your coffee, Sun Bath knows where the light will be. I made Sun Bath to navigate my relationship with the light around me. I hope it helps you as well! If your window's sun ever seems off, or you have an idea, please let me know by tapping "Send feedback" in the app's Settings menu :)
