Earn your screen time by walking. Every 200 steps gives you 1 minute in the apps you choose to lock. When your minutes run out, those apps lock until you take more steps. Social Steps counts your steps with Apple Health and locks the apps you pick with Apple's Screen Time. Endless scrolling now costs you a walk. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose what to lock. Pick single apps or whole categories, like social media, games or video. 2. Walk. Your steps turn into minutes. By default 200 steps = 1 minute, so a walk of about 2,000 steps earns you 10 minutes. 3. Use your minutes. When they are gone, a "Time for a walk" screen appears over the locked app. Take more steps and it unlocks itself. WHAT YOU GET • Dashboard: today's steps in one ring, plus minutes earned, used and left • Streak: how many days in a row you've kept it up • History: a weekly step chart and earned vs. used minutes for each day • Community counter: the total steps walked by everyone on Social Steps • Invite a friend: share your code, and your friend gets 1 month of Premium for free • Redeem Apple offer codes right in Settings FREE OR PREMIUM Free lets you lock up to 3 apps or categories at the standard rate of 200 steps = 1 minute. You can take one app off your locked list once a week, so a weak moment doesn't undo your plan. Premium adds: • Lock as many apps and categories as you like • Take an app off your list once a day instead of once a week • Set your own rate, from 20 to 1,000 steps for 1 to 10 minutes • Add bonus minutes (+5, +15 or +30) whenever you need them PRIVACY You don't need an account and Social Steps doesn't track you. Your step history stays on your iPhone. The community counter only receives an anonymous number of new steps, never linked to you. If you enter a friend's code, a one-way device code is stored so each code can be used once per device. Requires an iPhone with iOS 17 or later, access to your steps in Apple Health and Screen Time permission. SUBSCRIPTION Social Steps Premium is offered as: • Monthly: auto-renewing subscription, billed every month • Yearly: auto-renewing subscription, billed every year, starting with a 1-week free trial After the free week, the yearly subscription starts automatically and is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
