Transform your home into a haven of warmth and comfort with the ultimate Water Underfloor Heating toolkit! Whether you're a professional installer, HVAC engineer, or serious DIY enthusiast, this app delivers four powerful calculators in one — everything you need from design through commissioning. 4 Professional Calculators in One App: 1. Underfloor Heating Calculator The core tool for any UFH project. Calculate total heat flow, specific thermal output, floor surface temperatures, pipe lengths, loop planning, fluid velocity, and pressure losses — all based on your exact room parameters, pipe type, and multi-layer floor construction. Get instant warnings for floor temperature limits (EN 1264), insufficient heating capacity, low fluid velocity, and excessive pressure losses. Share detailed reports with clients or colleagues. 2. Room Heat Loss Calculator Stop guessing your heat loss values. Estimate room heat losses based on wall insulation, window and door types, floor/ceiling position, outdoor design temperature, and ventilation rate. See a clear breakdown showing exactly where heat escapes — walls, windows, doors, floor, ceiling, or ventilation. One tap sends the result directly into the UFH calculator. 3. Manifold & Pump Sizing Calculator After designing your loops, size the system properly. Select manifold material, mixing valve type, and connection piping — the app calculates total system pressure losses (loop + manifold + valve + piping) and required pump head. Get real pump recommendations from Grundfos, Wilo, and DAB with suitability indicators, energy classes, and variable-speed options. Feed data directly from your UFH results with one button. 4. Screed Drying Time Calculator Know exactly when your system is ready. Estimate drying time based on screed type (cement-sand, anhydrite, self-leveling), thickness, ambient temperature, humidity, and ventilation. The app generates a complete day-by-day commissioning temperature ramp-up schedule per EN 1264-4 — start at 25°C, increase 5°C/day — so you never rush the curing process. Why Professionals Choose This App: - Accurate engineering formulas with direction-specific thermal resistance and Reynolds-based hydraulics - Smart input validation prevents costly calculation errors - Seamless data flow between calculators — Heat Loss → UFH → Manifold & Pump - Detailed share/export reports for every calculation - Clean, intuitive interface with info tooltips for every parameter - Localized in 30+ languages Built for Real Projects From single-room renovations to entire buildings, this app covers the complete underfloor heating workflow: estimate heat losses, design the heating loops, size the manifold and pump, then plan the screed drying and commissioning schedule. No spreadsheets, no guesswork. Download now and design smarter, more efficient heating systems — from first calculation to final commissioning!

About

HydroniCalc

Features

HydroniCalc brings together 23 hydronic calculators for heating engineers and installers of water-based heating systems. Everything runs in metric units, offline, and without an account. The calculators are grouped into four families: • Basic hydraulics and pipework: power, flow and temperature difference, diameter and velocity, linear and fitting pressure losses. • Valves, balancing and circulator: the Kv / flow / pressure-drop relationship, valve sizing, balancing, and the pump operating point. • Pressurization, volumes and separation: fill pressure, water expansion, expansion vessel, and system volumes. • Radiators and underfloor heating: radiator output correction, sizing, and underfloor loop length. Each calculator shows the values to enter and displays the result as soon as the required data is valid. An info button explains the purpose of the calculation, the expected inputs, the method, the results, and the usage limits. Built-in Kv tables: look up the Kv values published by manufacturers (manufacturer, product, and generation), then copy a value to paste into your calculation. The tables never fill a calculation automatically; the value is always typed or pasted into the field. Recent calculations: your ten most recent successful calculations are stored locally, so you can find them again and resume them with their values. Eleven calculators are free to use. A single, non-subscription purchase permanently unlocks the other twelve for the Apple account used. If a purchase isn’t recognized, “Restore Purchases” asks the App Store to sync it again.
