Key Features Cloud-based communication system for synchronized data exchange between multiple race points. Instant connection of Microgate devices without cables or complex radio bridges. Precise Time of Day (TOD) transmission and instant bib assignment. Real-time athlete status management, including DNS (Did Not Start) and DNF (Did Not Finish). Flexible configurations for events of any size, from small tests to large distributed competitions.

Camberas Track is the safety app for anyone taking part in mountain races, trail running events, hiking marches and MTB rides. When you are out on the mountain, the organisation cannot see you. Hundreds of participants are spread over tens of kilometres of trails, often with no phone coverage. If you fall, get lost or simply fall behind, nobody knows where you are. Camberas Track solves that: while you have it switched on, your position reaches the race safety team. And if you need help, the SOS button sends your exact coordinates — just press and hold for two seconds. WHAT IT DOES • The organisation sees you on the map, from the first to the last kilometre. • SOS button: press and hold for 2 seconds and the safety team receives your exact position. Afterwards you can tell them what happened — a fall, a mechanical, that you got lost — or cancel it if it was a false alarm. • Your family and friends follow you live on the event's public map. • You see the race route and the track you have covered. • On group rides, you also see your team mates on the map. IT WORKS WITHOUT COVERAGE In the mountains the signal drops constantly. The app stores every position on your phone and uploads them as soon as coverage returns: not a single section of your route is lost, even after an hour with no signal. It works with the screen off and the phone in your backpack, which is how people really run. It uses around 4% of battery per hour. NO ACCOUNTS, NO PERSONAL DATA There is no sign-up, no password, no email address. The organisation gives you a QR code with your bib number: you scan it and that is it. The app only knows your bib number and your position during the event. Your position is shared only while you have tracking switched on. Opening the app does not start anything. And when the event is over, tracking stops on its own. HOW TO USE IT 1. The organisation gives you the QR code for your bib. 2. Scan it with the app: your phone is linked to that bib. 3. Before the start, tap ACTIVATE TRACKING. 4. Run. Put the phone away, turn off the screen and forget about it. 5. When you finish, swipe to stop (or let it stop on its own). FOR RACE ORGANISERS Camberas Track is part of the Camberas platform, with registrations, timing and live GPS tracking. If you organise an event and want to offer tracking to your participants, write to us at info@camberas.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE The SOS button alerts your race's safety team, not the public emergency services. In a serious emergency, always call the emergency number (112 in Spain).
