Subnet Vault is a subnet calculator and network toolkit for iPhone and iPad. Work out any IPv4 or IPv6 network as you type, plan address space with VLSM, and diagnose networks with 20 built-in tools. CALCULATE • Live results for IPv4 and IPv6: network, first and last host, usable hosts, subnet mask, wildcard mask and broadcast address • Type a prefix, a subnet mask or a wildcard mask • See whether an address is public, private or reserved, from IANA's special-purpose registries • Hex, integer and reverse-DNS forms, plus a colour-coded binary view • Split a network into equal subnets, check whether an address is inside a network, or find the supernet of two • VLSM planner: name each subnet, give its host count, and get a colour-coded map of the plan • Save results and plans, sync them through iCloud, and find them with Spotlight NETWORK TOOLS Reachability: Ping with a live chart, jitter and packet loss. Traceroute, with optional network-owner lookups. Port Scanner. DNS: DNS Lookup for A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, NS, SOA, SRV and PTR records. Reverse DNS. DNS Propagation across four public resolvers. Web: HTTP Headers, with the redirect chain and timing. SSL Certificate, with the full chain and the days left before it expires. Ownership: WHOIS for domains, IP addresses and AS numbers, from each registry's RDAP service. IP Geolocation. Your network: My Network shows your addresses, router, DNS servers, NAT type and every connection. LAN Scanner finds the devices on your network and marks new ones. Network Services discovers Bonjour services such as printers and AirPlay devices. Wake-on-LAN wakes a sleeping device. MAC Lookup names a device's maker from its MAC address, typed in or read from its label with the camera. Speed Test measures download, upload and latency on Measurement Lab (M-Lab). Wireless: Bluetooth Scanner and Bluetooth Explorer show nearby Bluetooth LE devices and their services. NFC Tag Reader and Writer read, write, erase and lock tags (iPhone with NFC). WORLDWIDE CHECKS Run Ping, Traceroute, DNS Lookup and HTTP Headers from up to six locations, one on each continent, through the Globalping network. EXPORT AND SHARE Export results from most tools as text, CSV or JSON, copy any value with a tap, and share calculations by Messages, Mail or AirDrop. LEARN An OSI model guide that links each layer to the tools that work at it, a subnetting tutorial, a glossary, and binary, IPv4 and wireless reference tables. PRIVACY No analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Calculations, saved results and scan history stay on your device and in your own iCloud. Tools that need an internet service send only what you look up, and the privacy policy names each service. Speed tests run on M-Lab, which publishes each test's IP address and results as open data, so the app asks before your first test. Built for VoiceOver and large text sizes. Only scan networks and hosts that you own or have permission to test.
