L’application MétéoBat VD utilise les données météorologiques fournies en collaboration avec MétéoSuisse dans le but d’informer l’utilisateur/trice des conditions météorologiques actuelles et prévisionnelles sur son lieu de travail. Cette application cible les travailleuses et travailleurs de la Construction œuvrant sur le canton de Vaud. L’utilisateur/trice reçoit selon sa volonté des notifications de type « push » en fonctions de lieux choisis ou de la position géographique de son lieu de travail. Le but de notre application est d’informer l’utilisateur/trice en cas de conditions météorologiques d’intempéries telles que fortes pluies ou neige par exemple et de permettre ainsi aux entreprises de prendre les mesures nécessaires pour l’adaptation ou l’arrêt des travaux sur le lieu de travail, dans le but d’assurer la santé et la sécurité des travailleurs.euses. L’application MétéoBat VD ne constitue pas une base légale pour toute revendication ou prétention concernant l’interruption du travail ou le droit à l’indemnisation des jours d’intempéries et doit être utilisée dans un but d’information basée sur des critères météorologiques clairement définis relatifs aux intempéries.
