Left is a time-awareness app built on one idea: your time is limited, and seeing it changes how you use it. Left turns time into something you can see, then helps you act on it with habits, streaks, countdowns, and a planner for your day. TIME LEFT See where you are in the year, month, week, day, hour, and your life. Each unit is a symbol; the past dims, what remains stays in view. Your life in weeks, year progress, and life progress, made tangible. Choose dots, symbols, colors, and layouts. A quiet, honest way to face limited time without it becoming morbid. HABITS, STREAKS & AIMS Left is a habit tracker for the person you are trying to become. Build habits on any schedule: daily, several times a day, weekly, monthly, or custom. Track streaks and protect them, count the days since anything that matters, and set reminders so nothing slips. And you don't have to do it alone: share a habit or streak with a friend, keep each other accountable, and send kudos, cheers, and encouragement when it counts. With aims, you have a flexible goal tracker for anything you can count, helping you build up or cut down. Stay on track and see your progress every day. AHEAD - COUNTDOWNS & DATES Add the dates that pull you forward: trips, birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, weddings, deadlines, retirement, and personal milestones. Count down to each one, import from Apple Calendar, and track both the days until and the days since. New: every Ahead date now has its own to-do list, so you can plan the small tasks that make the date happen and check them off as it approaches. Share an Ahead date with a friend, follow it side by side, comment, and add to-dos together on joint dates. PLANNER Planner pulls everything that matters into one beautiful, time-first view: your habits, streaks, Ahead dates, Apple Calendar events, Apple Reminders, weather, sleep, and workouts, together at last. Not another calendar, but a clear, calm picture of what the day is actually asking of you. Because everything lives in one place instead of five apps, Planner is a quiet ally for ADHD minds: see the whole day at a glance and miss nothing. Two new widgets come with it: a Planner widget and a Calendar widget for your Home Screen. FASTING TOOL A simple yet beautiful fasting tool inside Left. Pick a fasting window, start it in a tap, and follow every fast live from your Lock Screen, widgets and the Dynamic Island. Your history and stats are all there too. WHY LEFT Other apps give you habits without design, or aesthetics without depth. Left combines both: the widget range, the design quality, and the full set of time tools, in one app made with restraint and taste. Left requires a Premium plan to use its features. Choose a weekly, yearly plan or a one-time lifetime purchase to unlock everything. Terms: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

A countdown that never loses your days — and never holds its four widgets back. Add the day that matters, put it on your home screen, and watch it come closer. No limit on how many you keep, and nothing between you and the number. FOUR WIDGETS, FREE • Four widgets: one countdown, the next few in a list, a spotlight, or a tile for each • Every size of all four, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen • Unlimited events — there is no cap, and there never will be • Count down to a date, or count up from one • Recurring events: yearly, monthly, weekly, or every few days • Reminders on the day, and as far ahead as you want • iCloud sync, with no account to make • Import from a calendar, a spreadsheet, or another countdown app — and export any time • No ads, ever COUNT DOWN TO ANYTHING A wedding countdown, a vacation or trip countdown, a birthday or an anniversary. Christmas, New Year, Halloween and Thanksgiving. Exam day, graduation, retirement, a baby due date, a concert, a deadline, payday. Or count the days since a day that has already happened. YOUR DAYS, KEPT Most countdown apps lose your events at the worst moment — an update, a reinstall, a phone that died. This one takes a snapshot of everything on this device every single day, and always before anything risky. Thirty days of history, one tap to restore, and nothing ever leaves your phone. Days that have already passed are never deleted either: they collect into a timeline you can look back through, with the longest wait of each year written next to it. THE MOMENT ITSELF When a countdown reaches a milestone — a hundred days, a week, the morning of — the app opens on the number, full screen, and gives you a card worth sharing. THE BACK OF EVERY EVENT Tap an event and it turns over to a page of its own. Write a few lines, add photos, record a voice — the story of the day, kept with the day. It syncs with iCloud, goes into every backup, and shares as one picture. MADE TO LOOK LIKE YOURS Thirty-six ready-made events, from a birthday to a first day at work, each already set up with the right repeat and the right reminders. Two hundred drawn icons and the whole emoji keyboard. A hundred and fifty-nine full-screen backdrops — twenty-two of them photographs — a hundred and seven in Pro. COUNTDOWN PRO Pro unlocks the Pro backdrops, with a new drop every month, your own photos behind a countdown, Photo Roll — a widget that turns your event's own photos over behind the count, the Pro typefaces, the Lock Screen Live Activity, and inviting someone to count down with you. Whatever you unlock while subscribed stays yours for good — cancelling only stops the new ones arriving. Your countdowns, reminders and the four widgets work the same whether you subscribe or not. ——— Countdown Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Prices for the annual plan, which includes a 7-day free trial, and the monthly plan are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings at any time. A one-time Lifetime purchase is also available; it does not renew. Verdict

The call

Left and Countdown Widget both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Countdown Widget's written reviews are positive against 73% of Left's. Countdown Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 days) and monetization model (freemium vs paid). Left's advantage is ratings volume (507 vs 26). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
