Jebbio vs Guitar Permutation Trainer

Jebbio — your reference for crafting solos, riffs, and melodies. Jebbio is a practical reference tool for guitarists who want to understand how chords and scales connect on the fretboard, and use that knowledge to create music. Built for guitar teachers, students, and self-taught players, Jebbio supports exploration and ear-based playing rather than step-by-step lessons or predefined licks. Choose the chord progression you’re playing or writing. Explore the keys and scales that fit your chords. See the notes on the fretboard, hear them, and explore freely at your own pace. Instead of running scales up and down, Jebbio helps you work with motifs, connect positions across the fretboard, and focus on phrasing, timing, and feel. Jebbio doesn’t tell you what to play. It gives you the tools to explore, understand, and create your own musical ideas.

Guitar Permutation Trainer helps you practice finger permutations across your fretboard with a built‑in metronome and adaptive difficulty. Practicing permutation exercises on instruments like guitar, bass, and piano targets the small, intrinsic muscles of the hand and fingers, such as the lumbricals and interossei. These muscles are responsible for fine motor control, finger independence, and strength. Repetitive, structured movement patterns improve neuromuscular coordination by reinforcing neural pathways between the brain and fingers - a process known as motor learning. According to research in kinesiology and occupational therapy, consistent practice builds endurance and prevents overuse injuries by promoting balanced muscle development. For developing musicians, this foundation is essential for achieving speed, accuracy, and long-term technical reliability without strain.
