Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Ritualune at none against Taskquatch's shown. Ritualune also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Taskquatch's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Taskquatch against 5.0 for Ritualune. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taskquatch has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Taskquatch ships an update every 6 days, Ritualune every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
