White Mark Acoustic Toolbox is a professional room-acoustics, measurement and reporting platform for acousticians, studio designers, audio engineers and critical-listening specialists. Plan, model, measure, document and share acoustic projects from one app, whether you are checking an existing room, developing a studio concept, reviewing treatment options or preparing client-facing reports. ROOM DESIGN & PREDICTION • Room mode analysis with modal tables, histograms and Bonello distribution checks • RT60 target planning using industry-standard and custom targets • Per-band absorption planning for octave-band treatment schedules • Room optimiser for comparing dimensions and ranking modal performance • 3D room simulation for speaker/listener placement, early reflections and bass response prediction • LiDAR room scanning and AR visualisation on supported devices for rapid room capture and on-site checks MEASUREMENT & VERIFICATION Use the built-in microphone or a class-compliant audio interface / USB measurement microphone where supported. • SPL Meter with A, C and Z weighting, Fast, Slow, Impulse and Leq modes • RTA with 1/3-octave and 1/1-octave spectrum analysis • Spectrogram with 2D and 3D Metal-accelerated frequency-over-time views • Oscilloscope with real-time waveform display, triggered capture and fundamental frequency detection • THD+N meter for sine-wave distortion analysis • RT60 capture from broadband noise decay • NC/NR analysis with full curve family charting and RC Mark II descriptors • Signal generator with pink noise, white noise, log sweep and polarity test tones • Dosimeter for occupational noise exposure logging against OSHA and NIOSH references • Experimental vibration analysis using the device accelerometer APPLE WATCH COMPANION • Start and stop captures, monitor live SPL and review Noise Criteria telemetry from your wrist while moving around the room. TREATMENT & ABSORBER TOOLS • Porous absorber design using the Miki model • Panel, membrane and Helmholtz absorber tools in Pro • Multi-layer absorber stacks in Pro • Assign calculated absorption to room surfaces • Compare saved absorber designs and export specifications PROJECT WORKFLOW • Create projects, save measurements, add editable notes and organise work by phase. The Project Manager lets you review local projects, load the current project across tools, rename, duplicate, delete and manage project archive workflows. • Project Archives use the .wmarchive format to package project metadata, saved measurements, notes and project-scoped tool state into a self-contained file. Export a project for backup or collaboration. EXPORTS & REPORTING • Generate PDF reports and CSV exports from key tools, including project metadata, charts, measurement summaries and saved notes. TIERS Free: core room analysis, per-band planning and material viewing. Pro: unlimited projects, full simulation suite, absorber tools, optimiser and PDF/CSV exports. Commercial: Pro features plus commercial-use rights and white-label report branding for client deliverables. White Mark is a specialist acoustic design consultancy for recording studios, immersive audio rooms, post-production, broadcast and critical listening environments worldwide. The tools in this app were originally developed to support professional acoustic design workflows and are now available for broader use. Important: White Mark Acoustic Toolbox provides engineering tools, estimates and device-based measurements. It is not a substitute for calibrated, certified measurement instruments where regulatory, compliance, safety or diagnostic decisions are required. Vibration readings are experimental, accelerometer-based and should be verified with appropriate calibrated equipment before use in any formal assessment.
