Appnea vs DashForge

Appnea is the all-in-one app for freedivers and divers who want to train smarter, dive longer, and always come back safe. Whether you're just starting out or already pushing your limits, Appnea supports you before, during, and after every session — with tools built by freedivers, for freedivers. FREEDIVING TRAINING Prepare every session with a voice-guided relaxation protocol. Start a timed breath-hold, monitor your heart rate in real time via Apple Watch, and analyze your performance after each dive. CO₂ & O₂ TABLES Build CO₂ tolerance and improve your hypoxia management with training tables adapted to your level. Three difficulty settings available: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Your progress is automatically saved. SAFE SESSION — DIVE SAFE Set your expected exit time before every session. If you don't confirm your return in time, your emergency contacts automatically receive a push notification with your GPS location. Never dive alone without a safety net again. DIVE WEIGHT CALCULATOR Get your ideal ballast in seconds. Calculations adapt to your body weight, wetsuit thickness, target depth, and water type. An interactive buoyancy curve shows your behavior at every meter. ACADEMY Access video courses created by professional freediving instructors. Learn techniques, physiology, and safety best practices — directly inside the app. LOGBOOK & PROGRESS View your full session history, track your long-term progression, and unlock goals as you train. APPLE WATCH Control your sessions from your wrist. Receive haptic guidance, monitor your heart rate, and check your data without touching your phone. Appnea is free to download. Advanced features are available with Appnea Premium. Freediving carries inherent risks. Never dive alone. Appnea does not replace certified training or the presence of a qualified buddy. https://appnea.fr/cgu.html https://appnea.fr/cgv.html https://appnea.fr/mentions-legales.html
