Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Urbex at 4.2 against UrbexVault's 1.6. Urbex also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (115 vs 10). UrbexVault's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (25% vs 10%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UrbexVault sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Urbex sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Urbex holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Urbex has 115 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of UrbexVault's written reviews are positive against 10% of Urbex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
UrbexVault ships an update weekly, Urbex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
