Windy City Electronics is a local electronics buyer serving sellers in Chicago and Chicagoland. Check offers for iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Mac mini, Mac Studio, PS5 and Xbox consoles, and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Choose your model and details to see an estimated offer, or request a personal quote by text when a used device needs review. The app prepares a text message with your device details. New consoles and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses must be brand new, factory sealed and never used. We are not buying used items in those categories right now. For used iPads and used Mac desktops, send photos and the serial number to ask for today's price. We serve Chicago-area sellers who can meet us in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Meetups take place in public locations. Payment is by cash or Zelle after we check the exact model, condition and seal. Any offer shown in the app is preliminary until inspection. Mail-in service is not available in this version. Carrier-locked phones and phones with cracked screens may be accepted. We do not buy devices that are iCloud-locked or passcode-locked.

The clearest difference is rating: Windy City Electronics at 5.0 against OLENS's 2.2. Windy City Electronics also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). OLENS's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
