Unstar is not an app that uses the stars to define you. It uses Western astrology as a mirror for the self-image you hold, and reads the one grip you can loosen a little today. What arrives each morning is not a prediction. It is the knot you are gripping today, and what you can set down. Today's knot Every morning, one line names the self-image you are holding on to today. The knot is decided by which of your natal planets today's sky is touching, so the same day reads differently for each person. Press and hold to untie Press and hold the knot card to begin a deep reading. One sentence per screen. No long passages. Deep reading, with the Deep plan Today's knot, turned through six screens. Today's knot One sentence naming it as something you do. Where the knot is Others, duty, money, self. Where the same knot shows up, and how. Loosen What you can set down today, and why. Today's move One small action that could only come from this configuration. Why you The contact between today's sky and your natal chart. Thread to tomorrow One line from tomorrow's sky that makes you want to see what comes next. Ten themes Others' gaze, past, role, control, comparison, attachment, perfection, self-image, fear, approval. The places where people grip their self-image fall into patterns that keep returning. The chain of the moon From one new moon to the next is read as a single chain. Answer each night, loosened or still holding, and the answer is marked on the month's strip. The next morning's words continue from it. Pairs Add one person and see what each of you grips between you. There is no compatibility score. Record Your daily knots and evening answers are kept. As answers gather, your way of holding on begins to show. Observatory Today's planetary positions, moon phase, five elements, solar terms, lunar mansions and more. The sky behind each reading. Morning signal At the time you choose, that day's knot arrives. A different line every day, written for you. Privacy Only the numeric positions of the stars are sent to create a reading. Your birth date, your name and the names of the people you add never leave your device. Language Japanese and English, following your iPhone's language setting. This is not fortune-telling. It does not predict the future. It is a mirror that puts into words what you are already trying to return to today. The stars don't define you. They set you free.
