WETA+ PBS and KPBS+ both sit at 3.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of WETA+ PBS's written reviews are positive against 0% of KPBS+'s. On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
KPBS+ holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of WETA+ PBS's written reviews are positive against 0% of KPBS+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
