Record rainfall from your own rain gauge, compare years at a glance, and keep your history backed up and synced across iPhone, iPad and Android. RainLog is built for rain gauge owners, farmers, gardeners, weather enthusiasts and property managers who want reliable records based on their own measurements—not generic online weather data. FAST, FLEXIBLE RECORDING • Record rain or snow in millimetres or inches • Add trace amounts, weather icons and notes • Record garden, crop and property watering • Manage multiple rain gauges in one place POWERFUL GRAPHS AND COMPARISONS See monthly and yearly totals, Month-to-Date and Year-to-Date comparisons, four-year totals, rolling 12-month rainfall and long-term 2-, 5- and 10-year averages. Choose a custom rainfall year—such as July to June—to match your seasons, farm records or local climate. SHARED RAIN GAUGES Share a gauge with another RainLog user. Give trusted family members, workers or property managers view-only access, or allow them to add and edit rainfall readings for that gauge. The gauge remains under the owner’s account, and invited users do not need their own subscription to access a gauge shared with them. SYNC ACROSS DEVICES Sign in with your RainLog account to securely synchronise rainfall records across supported Apple and Android devices. BACKUPS AND CSV EXPORT Protect your rainfall history with backup tools and automatic CSV backups. Export records in date order for use with Excel, Numbers or farm record systems—your data remains useful outside RainLog. COMMUNITY RAIN MAP Optionally share rainfall summaries from selected gauges and view rainfall reported by other RainLog users on an interactive map. BUILT FOR REAL RAINFALL RECORDS RainLog is designed for people who read their own rain gauge or weather station. It does not automatically substitute online weather estimates for your measurements, helping you maintain a personal and consistent rainfall history. Your rainfall. Your gauge. Your history. RainLog includes a limited free trial so you can explore the app before subscribing. Annual subscription plans are based on the number of gauges you manage and support the continued development and maintenance of RainLog. Floodway

Live river levels for every gauge in Australia — and more than levels. Floodway shows live readings from every river gauge in the country, read against the Bureau of Meteorology's own flood classes — minor, moderate, major — so a number means something before you have to think about it. Australian rivers, Australian gauges, Australian flood classes. Not a US app with a few of ours bolted on. Then it does the part a river height on its own cannot: it watches the gauges upstream of yours, tells you when your river has peaked and started falling, and says how long that water has taken to arrive on every past rise. Built for the people who work the land rather than only live on it: the ones with a paddock, a pump, or a crossing between them and town. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT HAS PEAKED The hardest question during a rise is not how high it is. It is whether it is still going up. Star a gauge and Floodway tells you when it crosses a flood class, and again when it has peaked and started falling — which is the message that lets you go to bed. HOW LONG THE WATER TAKES TO GET HERE When a gauge upstream of you starts to rise, Floodway says so, and says roughly how long that water has taken to arrive in the past — a median measured from those two gauges' own shared record. Never modelled, never a forecast. Nobody else publishes it. EVERY FLOOD THE GAUGE HAS SEEN The whole record, not just today: past floods, how high they got, how this year compares with the last fifty, and the shape of every rise back to when the gauge was installed. ALSO • Live levels with the age of every reading. A height with no timestamp is the most dangerous thing an app like this can show, so the age is never separated from the number. • The whole river as one picture — every gauge from the top of the system to the bottom, each drawn against its own normal, so you can see a rise moving down the catchment instead of reading fourteen numbers. • A map of every gauge, and the ones nearest you. • During an event the level sits on your lock screen as a Live Activity and keeps itself current. FLOODWAY PRO Every gauge, every river, every chart and the whole record are free, and will stay free. The free tier of alerts covers two places. Pro raises that to every gauge you want to watch, and adds the upstream arrival and peak notifications. Monthly or yearly, and it pays for the part that costs us something to run: watching the record, hour after hour, for the rise that is on its way to you. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed in your Apple Account. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS NOT Floodway is decision support, not an official warning service. Always follow Bureau of Meteorology flood warnings and your state emergency service's directions. Gauges fail, feeds stall, and a gauge that has stopped reporting is marked stale rather than hidden. Readings are published by the Bureau of Meteorology, state water agencies and gauge-owning authorities, and the attribution appears with every reading. No account. No advertising. No analytics. Your location never leaves your phone. Terms of use: https://www.floodway.com.au/terms Privacy policy: https://www.floodway.com.au/privacy

Verdict
RainLog V2 and Floodway are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
