Wally keeps your budget on your phone. There's no bank login and nothing to sync. Tell it when you get paid and how much, and your balance moves on payday without you touching it. Add the accounts you actually use, checking or savings or cash, set the opening balance once, and Wally keeps it current as you log what you spend. Put your monthly bills in with their due dates and it reminds you before they land. Spending goes into categories you make yourself. Three questions and the category exists; the fiddly settings are there when you want them and out of the way when you don't. The charts show what came in against what went out, and how fast a budget is running down rather than only how much is left. Pay with your phone and Wally can pick the purchase up on its own, ready for you to check or already filed. If you share money with someone, a household budget puts the same categories in front of both of you. There's an assistant built in that reads your own numbers and answers questions about them: How much can I save this month? Where am I overspending? What should I cut first? You can lock the whole app behind Face ID. Wally speaks English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Subscription Tracker

A forgotten subscription turns up in the bank statement — months later. Eluna Subs reads that statement on your phone and finds the recurring charges your list is missing. No bank connection, no account, no ads. Eluna Subs remembers what renews and when, and tells you before the money leaves — not after. It never connects to a bank, never asks you to register, and works with the network switched off. NO LIMITS, NO PAID TIER As many subscriptions as you have, as many categories as you need, and the app lock included. Nothing here is sold by the item. A tip unlocks nothing, because everything is already open. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY ARRIVE Choose how many days ahead and at what time. A separate screen checks whether the system will really deliver them and names what to fix — the complaint every app in this category collects. BEFORE A TRIAL TURNS INTO A CHARGE Mark a trial, see the day it converts, and hear about it while cancelling is still free. ADDING TAKES SECONDS {SERVICES} services, each with its own mark, searchable in your own alphabet. {CANCEL_LINKS} of them carry the official cancellation link, so "how do I stop this" is one tap instead of a search. BRING IN WHAT YOU ALREADY PAY FOR • A bank statement, CSV or PDF: recurring charges are found on the device, with no bank connection. • A screenshot of your App Store subscriptions: read on the device, because store charges reach a statement as a single merged line that nobody can split. THE MONEY SIDE Monthly and yearly totals, a calendar of what is coming, spending by category, and a budget that warns you when subscriptions cross it. Any currency, with rates you can refresh or correct by hand. YOUR COPY, YOUR CLOUD An encrypted backup in your own iCloud, opened only by your password and recovery code. Or an encrypted file, or plain CSV, JSON and a calendar export — all of it yours to move. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT One screen lists every request the app is able to make and how to switch each one off. There is no "other" category: what is not named there, the app does not do. No account, no ads, no paywall — nothing is locked away. Free. A tip is welcome and unlocks nothing, because everything is already open. 61 languages with full right-to-left support, iPhone and iPad layouts, ten app icons, light and dark themes.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Wally at weekly against Subscription Tracker's every 3 weeks. Subscription Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
