simpleSTT turns audio and video into clean, accurate text using the world's best AI — and it sends your audio straight to them: OpenAI, Google and ElevenLabs. Never an unknown server. Never an unnamed model. Do one thing. Do it well. No bloat. No account. No detours for your data. Pick a file, choose a model, get your transcript. GOES ONLY TO THE AI YOU TRUST • Your audio is sent directly to OpenAI, Google or ElevenLabs — the world's most trusted AI labs • Never routed through an unknown server, never handed to an unnamed model • No simpleSTT server in the middle — it's device-to-provider, with your own API key • Transcripts are stored locally on your device PAY ONCE — THEN JUST CENTS • Buy the app once for lifetime access — no subscription required • After that you pay only your provider's API rate: usually just cents per recording • State-of-the-art transcription without a state-of-the-art monthly bill WORLD-CLASS MODELS — YOUR CHOICE • OpenAI GPT-4o Transcribe & Whisper • Google Gemini 3.5 Flash & 3.1 Pro • ElevenLabs Scribe v2 & v1 Switch models per job and always know exactly which one ran. BUILT FOR REAL WORK • Audio and video: M4A, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, MP4, MOV and more • Large recordings handled with smart splitting • Parallel processing for faster results • Automatic language detection, or pin a specific language • Custom prompts for vocabulary, formatting and summaries • Adjustable temperature for fine-grained control • Full-text search across all transcripts — find any word in titles or text, highlighted instantly WHO IT'S FOR Journalists, researchers, students, lawyers, doctors, therapists, podcasters — and anyone who'd rather read than re-listen. REQUIRES YOUR OWN API KEY To transcribe, add your own OpenAI, Google or ElevenLabs API key in Settings. You pay your provider directly for what you use — usually just a few cents per recording. Do one thing. Do it well. That's simpleSTT. EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
