You both choose "Add contact", and an encrypted connection is created between your phones. - A heads-up before the call. When a trusted contact calls you, you get a notification in the app just before your phone rings. So you know the call is genuine, no matter what the screen says. - Trust codes. Create a code in the app and paste it into any text message, email, or social media message. The receiver checks the code in the app and gets an answer in seconds. The code is locked to that receiver and expires by itself after 24 hours. ALONGSIDE, NOT INSTEAD OF ID-Truster does not replace your phone, email, or chat. It is an extra layer of reassurance that runs alongside what you already use. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU The connection is encrypted with a key that only lives on your phones.
