Ever wanted to find out when your KitchenAid® brand countertop stand mixer was manufactured? It's easy with Mixerology — all you need to do is point your camera at the serial number label underneath the mixer, and it will decode the model and serial number. No more guesswork, no more trying to decipher complicated charts or misleading Internet search results. In addition to scanning the label on a mixer, you can also select a photo of the serial number label from your Photos library, use the iOS "Share" feature on any available photograph of a label, or point the camera at a computer screen showing a photo of the label. (This is super handy when checking a for-sale listing.) Mixerology also decodes the color code from your mixer's model number (if available) and provides links to helpful information about your stand mixer's model type, such as compatible bowls and accessories, care tips, maintenance information, and more. The school run, practice pickup, or drop-off you can't make because you have to work. Chappy Rides connects you with people who already go where you're going. Not drivers for hire — parents at the same school, neighbors on the same commute, people whose week already passes your door. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add the places you go often — school, work, the gym, practice. 2. Post a ride: where from, where to, when, and who's travelling. 3. It reaches people who go to those same places, and anyone in your Chappy Network. 4. Sort out the details in a short message thread, then add the confirmed ride to your calendar with a reminder an hour before pickup. BUILD A NETWORK YOU TRUST Find people by name at the places you already share. Or pair up in person by scanning a Connect code — handy for a friend who doesn't go anywhere you do. People in your network see your requests first, and a thumbs up after a ride helps everyone see who turns up. OFFER WHAT FEELS RIGHT Ask for a favor, or put a bounty on a trip that's really an errand. Chappy Rides never touches the money — the amount is a note between the two of you, settled however you like. PRIVACY, ON PURPOSE • The app asks for no location permission at all. It never tracks where you are. • Your home address is private. It is never published, never searchable, and never shown to anyone else in full — a ride to or from home shows only to the user you select to drive. Before then the numbers are hidden. • You choose what's shared. The places you add are how people find rides, and you can remove any of them at any time. CHAPPY PLUS Free covers one ride looking for a Chappy at a time, planned up to three days ahead. Chappy Plus adds: • Ten rides looking for a Chappy at once • Plan a month ahead instead of three days • Either end of a trip can be an address you type instead of a frequent location (good for one-off destinations from the norm) • Your requests reach people at your places straight away, with no 30 minute delay Chappy Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your App Store account. It renews until you turn it off in your App Store settings; stopping it ends the next renewal and does not shorten what you have already paid for. GOOD TO KNOW Chappy Rides is a way for people to arrange rides between themselves. We do not run background checks, and we do not verify licenses, insurance or vehicles. We take no part in any journey. Use the same judgement you would arranging a lift with anyone else. You must be 16 or older to have an account. Under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian needs to agree too. You can block anyone, report a message, and reach a real person at info@chappyrides.com.
