Pick how long you want to be away from your phone. Tap once. Put it down. That is the whole app. DopaFast is a dopamine detox timer for taking a deliberate break from the endless scroll — no questionnaire, no sign-up, and nothing to configure before it works. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • Everything unlocked, free. No subscription and no paid tier. Every feature is there from the first launch. • No account. No name, no email, no password, no server. Your fasts and your streak stay on your phone. • The timer keeps running with the app closed. It is anchored to the clock rather than to the app being open, so locking the phone or putting it away does not stop it — a quiet notification tells you when the time is up. • It suggests what to do instead. An empty hour gets filled with the phone again unless something else fills it, so the app offers an idea matched to the time you picked — and you can add your own. HOW IT WORKS Choose 30 minutes, an hour, three hours, or set your own. The screen calms down, a countdown ring fills, and a suggestion sits underneath it. When the time is up you get a quiet notification — never a fanfare, never a nag. Finish a break and your streak grows. Miss one and nothing scolds you; you can repair a lost streak by watching a short video, if you want to. FREE, HONESTLY DopaFast pays for itself with a small banner on two screens and one optional video you only ever see if you ask for it. There are no full-screen ads, and no ads at all while you are fasting, on the home screen, when you finish, or during onboarding. Six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Turkish. Dopamine fasting is a popular name for putting the phone down for a while, not a clinical procedure. This app is not medical advice and makes no claim to treat addiction or anything else.

The clearest difference is ads: GölFit at none against DopaFast's shown. GölFit also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
