Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: BFDI Parallels at none against Jigsolitaire's shown. BFDI Parallels also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 46%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days). Jigsolitaire's advantage is ratings volume (74K vs 28) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Jigsolitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jigsolitaire has 74K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Jigsolitaire's written reviews are positive against 76% of BFDI Parallels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Jigsolitaire ships an update every 10 days, BFDI Parallels every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
