Coffee Meister vs SenTea

Coffee Meister is your ultimate tool for dialing in the perfect extraction — for espresso, filter, and immersion brews alike. Measure strength, calculate extraction, and say goodbye to guesswork. Connect your SmartRef refractometer over Bluetooth Low Energy and read coffee %TDS in seconds — or add readings by hand. Sensory tasting tells you what you like; a TDS measurement tells you why, and how to repeat it. No device yet? You can still log, organize, and export measurements, then connect one whenever you're ready. RESULTS WITH CONTEXT Pick your brew method and Coffee Meister sets the right TDS target, then tells you what your reading means: - See what's normal at a glance: espresso around 8–12 %TDS, filter 1.2–1.5 %TDS, French press 1.5–1.7 %TDS - Know instantly if you're under- or over-extracted — aim for 18–22 % extraction yield (below tastes sour, above turns bitter) EXTRACTION CALCULATOR FOR EVERY METHOD Enter your dose and beverage weight to calculate extraction percentage from any TDS reading, with three modes matched to how your coffee brews: - Percolation — espresso, V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex, moka pot - Immersion — cupping and French press - Mixed phase — AeroPress, siphon, clever dripper SKIP THE MATH - Two ways to read TDS: fixed (%TDS) or custom (%TDS custom) with your own conversion factor - Automatic temperature compensation — values are already corrected, no tables needed - Also reports Brix (°Bx), refractive index (nD, nD @20 °C), and density (g/cm³) A DATA HISTORY YOU OWN - Organize readings into custom logs with notes and timestamps - Keep a brew journal, per-reading notes, and project notes for your recipes - Find anything instantly with full-text search - Export to PDF for clean reports or CSV for spreadsheets - Long-press any result to copy or share it ONE ACCOUNT, EVERY DEVICE A free Meister Cloud account syncs your logs across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Silicon Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and the web — one account for the whole Meister app family. Without an account, your data stays local on your device. Whether you're a home barista or a coffee professional, Coffee Meister helps you craft consistently exceptional coffee. Free to download, with an optional subscription for advanced features. For %TDS and refractive index you need a SmartRef; for density, an EasyDens Learn more: https://www.get-tony.com/ SUPPORT Contact us at support@get-tony.com PRIVACY POLICY https://www.get-tony.com/policies/privacy-policy TERMS https://www.get-tony.com/policies/legal-notice --- Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the rate selected depending on the subscription plan.
