About

Tally

Features

Tally is a counter you can use without looking at it. Each counter is a large colored block that takes its share of the screen, and tapping anywhere on that block adds one. There is no small +/− to aim at, so your eyes stay on whatever you are counting and the vibration tells you the count went up. Add as many counters as you need and they divide the screen between them, so you can count several things at once without moving between screens. WHAT IT DOES • Tap anywhere on a counter to add one • Long-press for Subtract One, Reset Counter, Rename, Change Color, and Delete Counter • One, two, or three columns, with three available on tablets • A vibration, a flash, and an optional click on every tap • Light and dark, following your device or set by hand • English and Arabic, with the whole screen turning around for Arabic YOUR COUNTERS STAY ON YOUR PHONE There is no account, no sign-in, and no sync. Nothing you count is uploaded anywhere, and Tally works with no signal at all. Tally makes one request over the internet and only one: on opening, it asks for a small file saying which version is current, so it can tell you when an update is out. It sends nothing about you and nothing about what you count.
