The clearest difference is rating: SamTV Remote+ at 5.0 against Onn Remote's 4.7. SamTV Remote+ also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Onn Remote's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (14 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
