Fieldlight

Features

Fieldlight is a focused light meter for 35mm film photographers who want a quick reading without turning exposure into a settings form. Tap the live camera preview to meter a scene, then get clear aperture and shutter recommendations using camera-native stops. Fieldlight supports aperture priority, shutter priority, and auto recommendations, with film ISO lock for loaded rolls and optional dynamic ISO for digital-style testing. Set your camera profile, avoid unavailable shutter speeds, clamp aperture limits, and get plain-language guidance when a scene is over or under the target exposure. Handheld warnings help you know when to use a tripod, while shot logging keeps the exposure details you need after the frame is made. Fieldlight also offers a Home Screen widget and Lock Screen controls for quick access to aperture priority, shutter priority, and auto. No account required.
