MicroPlastics vs Character and Compassion

See how much plastic touches the things you use every day, and find better swaps. Microplastics can come from almost anything: food packaging, water bottles, baby bottles, takeout containers, cookware, tea bags, cosmetics and skincare. MicroPlastics turns any product into a clear 0 to 100 Product Contact Signal, explains what drives it, and shows lower-plastic options you can switch to. SCAN ANYTHING - Scan a barcode, snap a label or photo, or type an item in - Food and drinks, bottled water, baby bottles and feeding gear - Containers, food storage, cookware, kettles and the microwave - Cosmetics, skincare and personal care: check ingredient lists for listed polymers - Sweep a shelf to compare supported barcodes in one pass UNDERSTAND YOUR SCORE - Lower is better: less modeled plastic contact for that item and how you use it - See the main driver, such as material, heat, wear or packaging - Check confidence and the research behind each estimate - Browse independent lab measurements published by PlasticList SWAP AND IMPROVE - Lower-plastic alternatives matched to what you scanned - Compare items side by side and save the swaps you like - Guides on BPA, PFAS, phthalates and nanoplastics, plus water filters, glass and steel bottles, and plastic-free food storage - Build low-tox habits with plans, room check-ins, quests and your Plastic Passport - Find refill stations and low-packaging shops near you HOW TO READ RESULTS Scores are research-informed estimates based on materials and use, not lab tests of your item. They are not a safety rating, diagnosis or measure of what entered your body. MicroPlastics is not a medical device; talk to a healthcare professional about health questions.
