You know the drill. Finally at the campsite, kids are restless — and you're running back to check the spirit level for the fifth time. Back and forth, back and forth. Enough. LevelMate measures your caravan's tilt and tells you exactly what to do — with voice, haptics, and a clear display. You pick how: THREE MODES — WHATEVER YOU HAVE WITH YOU • With Apple Watch: iPhone stays inside and measures, the Watch tells you what to do right at the wheel. Hands free. • iPhone only: No Watch handy? Your iPhone does both — measures and speaks the instructions. Works standalone. • Two iPhones: Partner or family has a second iPhone? One iPhone measures inside the caravan, the other shows instructions outside. Peer-to-peer, no Wi-Fi needed. HERE'S HOW 1. Pick a mode at first launch 2. Place the iPhone face-down 3. Slide chocks, crank the hitch — the app tells you when it's level 4. Vibration = finished. Time to relax. WHY NOT JUST USE THE IPHONE SPIRIT LEVEL? Sure, your iPhone has one. But it only helps you inside. You're standing outside at the wheel. LevelMate doesn't replace measuring — it replaces running back and forth. WHAT'S INSIDE • Real-time measurement via iPhone motion sensors • Clear voice instructions: "Raise driver side" or "Lower the hitch" • Voice output — hands free, eyes free • Haptic feedback on progress and when perfectly level • 0.5° increments for a calm display without jitter NO NONSENSE • Starts instantly — no login, no account • Works offline — no campsite Wi-Fi needed • No calibration required • No ads, no tracking, no servers • Your data stays on your device. Period. DO I NEED AN APPLE WATCH? No. The Watch is one of three modes — not a requirement. Use just your iPhone, or pair two. Whatever you have. Buy once, use forever. For the price of a campsite coffee, you skip the back-and-forth at every pitch.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: LevelMate at 100% against Level light's 50%. Level light's advantage is price (Free vs $2.99) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
