About

Hushsweep Tracker Detector

Features

Hushsweep is a tool you run on purpose: when you check in to a rental or hotel, get into a car, before a meeting, or when a drone is overhead. For 60 seconds it listens to the Bluetooth broadcasts around you, compares them with a signature catalog built from the public Bluetooth SIG and IEEE registries (updated automatically), and tells you which devices are present. Four scenarios • Check-in check: a Bluetooth sweep, a local network camera check and a lens reflection check, then a one-page report. • Vehicle check: find trackers in the car (AirTag, Find My accessories, Tile, SmartTag, Find Hub, DULT), then go straight to Hunt. • Pre-meeting check: scan for AI recorder pendants and smart glasses. Meeting watch keeps watching during the meeting, so a device that appears later is noticed too. • Drone watch: decodes Remote ID and shows the aircraft ID, altitude, speed, and the pilot's bearing and distance. After a match • Hunt: the cue gets stronger as you get closer, with sound and haptics. • Play sound: ask trackers that support it to make a sound, then follow the guide to disable it. • Next steps: who you can contact and what you can do, for your region. • Reports: a PDF with the time, the place (can be hidden), the matches and a disclaimer, in English, Japanese or Traditional Chinese. Shared through the share sheet, never through a server. • Evidence log: every sweep goes into a hash chain you can export and verify. • Where it appeared: a map of where a device showed up. One that keeps appearing in different places is ranked higher. Fewer false matches • My devices: register your own earphones, watch and trackers so they stop showing up as matches. The number skipped is always shown. • Every match carries a confidence level (high, medium, low) and other possible explanations. • With no matches, Hushsweep says: nothing found does not mean nothing is there, and explains why. Background watch When it is on, Hushsweep notifies you when the same tracker keeps appearing near you in different places. It only covers tracker brands that broadcast while separated from their owner (the Automatic protection page lists them) and can pause when the phone is locked or the system limits it. It is not continuous protection. Lens reflection check Turns on the camera and flashlight and circles reflections on screen, to help you look with your own eyes at smoke detectors, clocks, chargers and vents. An aid for your own inspection, not a camera detector. Images are not stored or uploaded. Local network camera check Looks on your current Wi-Fi network for devices that announce streaming or ONVIF services, using only standard, password-free requests. What this app does not do • It does not tell whether a device is recording or tracking you. A match means the device is present, not that it is recording. Privacy Everything happens on your device. No account, no third-party analytics, no upload. Custom signatures and your watchlist sync only to your own private iCloud database. Low-key mode: a neutral app icon, one tap to clear the screen, no content in notifications. More • Live Activity on the Lock Screen and a Control Center button to start a sweep. • Reminders when you arrive somewhere new, before a meeting, or on CarPlay (each can be turned off). A Hushsweep Pro monthly subscription unlocks the Pre-meeting check and Drone watch; see the app for the price in your region. Everything else is free, including the vehicle and check-in checks, Hunt, reports, the evidence log, the background tracker watch and every other safety feature. The subscription renews automatically; cancel any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
