DigiBall Watch
Read full descriptionHide full description
This is a stand-alone watch app for the DigiBall. It does not require another device to operate. The DigiBall® is a patented electronic cue ball that automatically detects the exact tip location when hit. Because it uses gravity as a reference there is no need for manual alignment (unlike traditional training balls). Information is sent wirelessly via Bluetooth® to an Apple device. All balls are perfectly balanced, perfectly round, weigh the same as a regulation ball and made from Aramith® resin. The DigiBall uses a shock-resistant automotive-grade IMU on a custom circuit board that is further encapsulated and ruggedized; break-shots are no problem. Each ball comes with a proprietary charging pad which provides 16 hours of play time per charge. The purpose of the DigiBall is to provide players/students immediate feedback on the accuracy of their stroke when hitting the cue ball. Accuracy is very important for both pocketing the object ball and imparting the correct spin on the cue ball to travel to the desired position for the next shot. Knowledge of tip position accuracy helps guide the player in choosing where to make fundamental corrections, be it aiming, stroke, alignment, focus, or conceptual. Accuracy is key to consistent billiards. See www.digicue.net for more information.
Chalk Clock

Chalk Clock is a cue-sports scorekeeper built around the game you’re actually playing. Score pool, billiards and snooker matches with game-specific controls, flexible match setup and an optional built-in shot clock—all in one app. Instead of forcing every game into the same generic scoreboard, Chalk Clock adapts its scoring controls and match information to the selected discipline. 12+ SUPPORTED GAME FORMATS • 8-Ball, 9-Ball and 10-Ball • Straight Pool (14.1) • Snooker — 15-red and 6-red • APA 9-Ball practice scoring • One Pocket • Bank Pool • American and Filipino 15-Ball Rotation • Kick Safe • 8-Ball, 9-Ball and 10-Ball with Shootout SCORING THAT FITS THE GAME Different cue sports keep score differently. Chalk Clock provides controls and match information appropriate to each supported format. Track racks in 8-Ball, 9-Ball and 10-Ball. Follow runs, fouls and rack progress in Straight Pool. Keep frame scores, breaks and remaining balls visible in Snooker. Track ball-by-ball scoring and ownership in 15-Ball Rotation, with dedicated workflows for One Pocket, Bank Pool, Kick Safe and Shootout formats. STRAIGHT POOL — 14.1 CONTINUOUS Use dedicated Straight Pool scoring instead of a basic two-player counter. Track current runs, high runs, ball scores, rack progress, fouls, penalties and match totals. Make corrections without restarting the match. SNOOKER SCOREBOARD Score complete 15-red and 6-red Snooker frames. Track points, breaks, remaining balls and frame progress from one match screen. APA 9-BALL PRACTICE Chalk Clock gives APA 9-Ball players a convenient way to practice using skill-level points-to-win targets and keep score during practice sessions. APA 8-Ball players can configure handicapped practice races using Chalk Clock’s standard 8-Ball scoring. Chalk Clock is not intended for official APA league-match scoring and does not replace an official APA scoresheet. It does not track innings, defensive shots or other league scoresheet statistics. Chalk Clock is not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Poolplayers Association. BUILT-IN SHOT CLOCK Use Chalk Clock with or without match timing. Configure standard shot time, after-break time, warning time, extensions, timeouts and audio warnings. The shot clock and scoring controls work together, eliminating the need for a separate pool timer. When timing is not needed, simply leave the shot clock disabled. CONFIGURE THE MATCH YOUR WAY Set up individual or team play and choose races, sets or frames where supported. Select alternate or winner break when available. Push-out controls are included for supported games. Use Chalk Clock for casual matches, practice sessions, league and club play, refereed matches, independent tournaments and timed events. CORRECT MISTAKES DURING PLAY Correct scores and relevant match information without discarding the match. Editing options adapt to the selected game and its current state. CLEAR MATCH INFORMATION Scores, player names, match progress, timing and game-specific details are presented together so players, referees and spectators can follow the match. ALL GAMES ARE FREE All supported game formats are free to use, and no credit card is required. Choose a format, configure the match and start scoring. CHALK CLOCK PRO Chalk Clock Pro removes ads and unlocks extended race and frame options, custom match-screen headers, and TV Mode for a cleaner external display on supported devices. An account is required for subscription features. In-app purchases apply. Feature availability may vary by game, platform and device. From Straight Pool and Snooker to APA 9-Ball practice, American Rotation and timed pool matches, Chalk Clock brings game-specific scoring and a configurable shot clock together in one app. Privacy Policy: https://chalkclock.com/privacy.html Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
