Inundo
Read full descriptionHide full description
Inundo is a narrative applied game that addresses the themes of active participation and flood risk management. Through the story of Alex, a young geology graduate student who returns to his hometown to complete his thesis, players encounter and explore key concepts related to flood risks: from territorial and logistical challenges to possible natural and artificial buffers, from varying risk exposures to individual actions and collective strategies for preparedness, and the actors involved in prevention and response. The crucial themes of urban planning, risk and vulnerability mapping, and coordination between different stakeholders are explored through an engaging narrative that portrays the conflictual relationship between youth and institutions, along with the dynamics, different perspectives, and prejudices that influence it. The player's choices, guided by their sensitivity and understanding of the proposed themes, influence the course of events and determine how well the European town where the game takes place will be prepared for the extreme weather event that arrives in the epilogue. Inundo was developed within the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU AYDRESS project - Project Number: GA 2023-2-FR02-KA220-YOU-000173783 Start Date: 01.01.2024 - Date of Completion: 31.12.2025
Milao

Milao is a flashcard-based language learning app — but not an ordinary one. It generates flashcards based on your personal interests, so you learn with content you actually care about. Choose between words or full sentences, and Milao’s AI creates your cards in seconds. Many people see AI as something negative, especially when it comes to language learning. I don't. Used the right way, it can be a real cheat code. I studied with AI regularly and slowly built my own learning system. That system is now optimized inside Milao. In my opinion, there are three key steps to improving your language skills: 1) Expose yourself to new contextual content that is relevant to you. 2) Review this content regularly and track your progress. 3) Once you've truly internalized it, go back to step 1). If you repeat these steps over a long period of time, you will eventually increase your level. That's at least how it worked for me. Milao is built exactly around this process: 1) Use the Create tab to generate enough (20 or more) flashcards, personalized to your interests. 2) Hit the daily goal in the Progress tab every day (or at least most of the days). 3) Once most of the circle in the Progress tab is purple, it means you've internalized this content – then go back to step 1 and create new cards. The app is designed so that the free version is already enough to learn effectively. If you want to boost your learning even more, you can upgrade to Premium at any time (and cancel whenever you want). Thanks for choosing Milao! Happy learning!
