Light Meter - measure illuminance in lux and foot-candles Turn your iPhone into a handy light meter. See how bright your room, desk, or scene really is - ideal for photographers, plant parents, home offices, and anyone who cares about lighting. Why Light Meter • Live readings in lux or foot-candles with session min/max • Hold to freeze the value while you move • Calibration with profiles (indoor, outdoor, studio, custom) and a guided calibration flow • Diffuser modes when you use paper or a professional diffuser over the sensor • Dark, readable UI with optional lux-based background and camera overlay LightMeter Pro Unlock the full toolkit: • Smart insights and a confidence indicator for steadier readings • Auto scene labels so you instantly recognize dark, indoor, bright, or daylight-like levels • Specialized modes - rough plant / PAR guidance, photography tips, and workspace ergonomics (not a substitute for lab equipment) • Measurement history with charts and CSV export • Advanced accuracy, smoothing, and richer visuals for power users Good to know Readings are estimates from your device’s camera and software - they’re great for comparing spaces and setups, not for certified compliance or safety-critical measurements.
