Top Note vs Note Link by DCS0

Top Note is a widget-first productivity app that keeps you focused on what’s next—literally one thing at a time. Instead of endless to-do lists you never look at, Top Note presents you with a single reminder, flashcard, or note right on your Home Screen widget. If you’re ready, mark it complete. If not, skip it—but you’ll see it again even sooner thanks to our spaced repetition system. This keeps important tasks and knowledge top-of-mind without overwhelming you. Perfect for: • People who ignore traditional reminders. • Habit building and routine reinforcement. • Quick study sessions with confidence-rated flashcards. • Keeping a simple note or mantra visible all day. Features: • One-at-a-time reminders — No scrolling, no distraction. • Skip & repeat — Skipped items return sooner, so you can’t forget. • Spaced repetition flashcards — Boost memory and recall. • Widget-first design — Most interactions happen right from your Home Screen. • Flexible note support — Keep quotes, mantras, or micro-goals handy. • Simple setup in the main app — Then live in the widget. Why it works: Top Note uses gentle friction to keep you accountable. There’s no endless list to cherry-pick from—you must either complete the next thing or face it again soon.

Record voice and text notes, import audio, photos and documents, extract text, and search your library on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Export or back up your notes and optionally sync your library with iCloud. Local note-taking and search work without a NoteLink account. Apple handles supported on-device transcription and processing. For Czech and other supported languages, optional cloud transcription and analysis use NoteLink's Firebase/Google Cloud backend and Google Vertex AI Gemini after sign-in and informed permission. Cloud transcription runs after recording; live captions depend on Apple's supported languages. Cloud transcription and analysis require internet access and available credits. New accounts receive 100 credits once. Existing accounts retain their balance. This version offers no credit purchases or automatic refill. Cloud permission also enables background note and attachment replication and optional sharing; you can withdraw it in Settings. Export your backend data or request cloud-account deletion in Settings. Account deletion preserves local notes and your iCloud library. Read the privacy policy for data recipients, storage, diagnostics and retention.
