Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Cloudflare Remote at 4.9 against Clouder for Cloudflare's 4.6. Cloudflare Remote also leads on ratings volume (81 vs 8) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Clouder for Cloudflare's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Cloudflare Remote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Clouder for Cloudflare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Cloudflare Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloudflare Remote has 81 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Cloudflare Remote's written reviews are positive against 67% of Clouder for Cloudflare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Cloudflare Remote ships an update monthly, Clouder for Cloudflare fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
