SpeedRead is a private, local-first EPUB and PDF reader for iPhone and iPad. Import up to three DRM-free books for free and use the complete local experience: customizable regular reading, contextual RSVP Speed mode, on-device PDF OCR, progress, status, tags, search, and sharing. Your local library remains available offline. SpeedRead Pro adds an unlimited library and private iCloud synchronization through monthly, annual, or lifetime access. Existing books remain readable, shareable, and removable if Pro access expires. Speed mode keeps nearby words visible, anchors the active word at its optimal recognition point, and supports adaptive pacing from 100 to 1000 WPM.
