About ZotBins ZotBins are smart waste bins that educate UCI students (and beyond!) about where their waste goes. Our goal is to combat incorrect disposal of waste and increase waste diversion rates by creating a technology-based zero-waste management system. By collecting and analyzing data on waste diversion rates, we aim to enhance the campus-wide waste management practices currently in place.
