Pilot students need to get familiar with unit conversions (for example ft to m or kts to km/h) and experienced pilots should keep up their practice in converting units quickly in-flight to ensure a save flight. Get peace of mind with SkySolve: Mental math and unit conversion training at your fingertips, specifically made for pilots. SkySolve currently offers the following exercise types: - Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division - Feet to Meters - Flight Level to Meters - Knots to km/h - Nautical Miles to km - Opposite Heading calculation - 3 Times Table (as it's key in order to get very quick in converting feet to meters) Additional Features: - Automatic answer submission: Once your answer is entered correctly, the app accepts it and jumps to the next exercise, without the need of pressing "enter" or "submit". This makes your practice more efficient. - See your progress by collecting points with every correct answer. The points are stored locally on your device and will cumulate over time. - SkySolve features a lock screen widget that you can use as a quick access button from your home screen.

Most holding pattern apps I tried were either paid, full of ads, or way more complicated than they needed to be. So I built this one — for student pilots like I was, and for rated pilots who want a quick brush-up. I'm a Flight Instructor, and these are the lessons and drills I wish I'd had when I was figuring this stuff out. No ads. No tracking. No in-app purchases. No account to sign up for. Just open it and start. LEARN - Short lessons, from the basics to wind correction - Clear diagrams for every concept - Read at your own pace QUIZ - New questions every time - Realistic ATC clearances and scenarios - Pick the entry, see the geometry, move on CHECKRIDE MODE - Tests your ability to plot a holding pattern and determine the correct entry. - Inbound course, hold side, entry — all three have to be right - Built for improving your ability to receive an ATC clearance, picture the hold, and pick the right entry PROGRESS - Tracks your accuracy as you go - Everything stays on your phone
