The DOST Courseware is a locally-produced, all-original Filipino highly interactive multimedia educational application packages that are conceptualized, digitized and produced as spearheaded by the Science Education Institute (SEI-DOST) in partnership with the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI-DOST) and in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine Normal University (PNU) and University of the Philippines-National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (UP-NISMED), which aims to develop information and communication technology learning innovation to support the upgrading and improvement of science and mathematics education in the country. The DOST Courseware are provided for free to schools and are also made available online as supplemental resources for teachers and student as a fun and interactive approach to e-learning and blended learning. The Grade 7 DOST Courseware is composed of 120 lessons overall, 73 lessons in Science where it covered the domains on: Matter; Force, Motion and Energy, Living Things and Their Environment and Earth and Space while the 60 lessons in Mathematic covered the domains on: Numbers and Number Sense, Patterns and Algebra, and Geometry. The Grade 8 DOST Courseware is composed of 118 lessons overall, 61 lessons in Science where it covered the domains on: Parts and Functions, Ecosystems, Heredity: Inheritance and Variation of Traits, Structures and Functions, Biodiversity, and Evolution, while the 57 lessons in Mathematics covered the domains on: Linear Equations, Quadratic Equations, Rational Algebraic Equations, Integral Exponents, Radicals, Arithmetic Sequence and Geometric Sequence. The themes of the courseware for Grades 7 and 8, Magicademy, Freddy’s Lab and D’nayao will surely amuse the users as they explore these distinct worlds while learning at the same time.

This application presents you the Word of God in 9 Romani dialects, as Bible portions or New Testaments, and in 13 other languages in one single App. You can choose the language combinations that you want to appear on the same screen. You can download the audio chapters of the New Testaments of some of these languages and thus listen to the texts being read out for you. However, the written text and the text being read out for you are not necessarily exactly the same. If you press the little “book” icon on the top right you can change the windows on the screen: Now choose either - “single pane” if you want to see one of the Romani dialects only (or any other language of your choice) - "two panes" to display any language of your choice at the top and another language of your choice at the bottom - "verse by verse" to display a verse in any language of your choice followed by the same verse in another language of your choice. • Bookmark and highlight your favourite verses • When you tap on a verse, an image button is shown on the bottom toolbar. When this button is pressed, the ’Edit image’ screen appears. You can choose the background image, move the text around the image, change the font, text size, alignment, format and colour. The finished image can be saved to the device and shared with others. • Give your phone permission to download the audio files for the New Testament texts. Once downloaded, the audio files will remain on your device for further use in offline mode. • Write your personal notes • Search for words in your Bible • Swipe to navigate chapters • Night Mode for reading during when dark (good for your eyes) • Click and share Bible verses with your friends via WhatsApp, Facebook, E-mail, SMS etc. • No additional font installation required. (Renders complex scripts well.) • Friendly user interface with Navigation drawer menu • Adjustable font size and easy to use interface
