PlaydatesGo 4.0 is our biggest update yet. It is about one thing: plan the weekend with the families you already trust, in one tap. This Week is your new home tab. See what is planned for the weekend, turn on We are free for Saturday or Sunday, and see which of your friends are free too. No more texting everyone to ask who is around. Ask who is free sends each friend a nudge in one tap. They answer I am free or Not this weekend right from the notification, without opening the app. Crews let you save your regulars, like the Saturday park gang or the school friends, and invite all of them in one tap when you plan something. Plan again starts a new playdate from one you loved, with the place, time and crew already filled in. Every Thursday we tell you who is free and what is planned. You get a reminder the day before and a few hours before each playdate, and a gentle nudge to add a photo after it ends so it lands in your Yearbook. On the day, the playdate is right on your lock screen with where, when and who is coming. There is also a lock screen shortcut straight to the camera for playdate photos. Invite friends by text or email, or share a playdate anywhere with an invite link. When a friend signs up with the email you invited, you are connected automatically. Every chat message now sends a push notification, everyone on a playdate can join its group chat, and the agenda can add playdates to your Apple Calendar. Dot picks where to play and eat today based on the weather and your kids ages, free for everyone. PlaydatesGo Plus adds flyer art and repeating playdates for hosts, with a one week free trial. Connecting with families stays free, forever. Verified emails and major privacy upgrades. Your kids details and your home location are never public. Playdates are visible only to the families involved. A fresh look across every screen, lighter and clearer, with full support for Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion. Simpler by design. We removed the social feed, the in-app calendar and a few rarely used extras so the app does one thing well. Messages, Friends and your Yearbook now live together in the Village tab. Everything social is free, with no ads and no data selling. Built by a parent, for parents.
