Tech Fix Training vs APEXTech

TechFix is committed to providing thorough and ongoing online training for automotive technicians of all levels. Our objective is to empower our students with the latest technical expertise, the proper mindset, and a supportive network of like-minded individuals.

APEX Tech is the first AI-powered automotive technician development app — combining real-time AI diagnostics with a complete training academy, built by a master tech with 25 years of fixed ops experience. This isn't ChatGPT with a car logo. Every response stays in the shop. Ask it a trick question — it won't hallucinate a part number or make up a TSB. AI DIAGNOSTICS WITH LIVE BULLETIN SEARCH Describe symptoms, drop scan data, upload photos. APEX Tech builds a real diagnostic path while simultaneously searching Google for matching TSBs, recalls, and known issues — real bulletin numbers, not guesses. Two AI models working together so you get accurate diagnostics AND up-to-date service information in one response. QUICK QUESTION Need a torque spec? Fluid capacity? Wiring color? Ask from the home screen. Instant answer. No 12-minute YouTube video for a 10-second answer. APEX ACADEMY — 32 VEHICLE SYSTEMS Daily curriculum covering every system on the vehicle. Learn at your own pace or test out if you already know the material (8/10 to pass). Whether you're a lube tech moving up or a master tech brushing up, this is your path. ASE CERTIFICATION Study tools designed to help you pass your ASE tests. Get the certification. Get the raise. FLAT RATE COACHING Work smarter, flag more hours. Real-world shortcuts from the shop floor that help you beat book time without cutting corners. TECH TIPS The stuff they don't teach in school. Tricks, workarounds, and real-world knowledge from techs who have been in the bays. FINANCIAL TOOLS Tax strategies for technicians. Tool deductions. Career planning. The money side of being a tech that nobody talks about. AUTOMOTIVE NEWS Industry news updated every 4 hours. Plus a weekly AI-generated digest delivered to your inbox every Monday.
