TETSUO is a workout tracker that watches you train. Prop up your phone, hit Start Workout, and go — the camera recognizes what exercise you're doing, counts every rep out loud, times your rest between sets, and grades your training over time. No wearables, no tapping between sets, no manual logging. ONE BUTTON. THAT'S IT. There's no exercise picker and no setup flow. Start a workout, walk in front of the camera, and start moving. TETSUO detects the exercise from your body's motion, and by the time it announces your set, the reps you already did are counted — it was watching from the first rep. When you stop, the set saves itself and a big rest timer takes over, readable from across the room. WHAT IT COUNTS • Squats • Push-ups • Pull-ups • Sit-ups • Hanging leg raises • Plank — held seconds, timed automatically Rep detection runs on real body geometry — joint angles, not guesswork — so cheat reps, walk-bys, and warm-up shuffling don't count. Audio cues confirm every rep so you never have to look at the screen. Finish a set hands-free: just walk away, drop off the bar, or cross your wrists overhead. EARN YOUR RANK Every workout is scored, and your recent training rolls up into a letter rank — from F all the way to S+. Reps are bucketed into muscle groups (push, pull, legs, abs), a quality day means really working a group, and rest days are built into the system — because recovery is training too. Your rank reflects what you've done lately, not what you did last year. YOUR TRAINING, VISIBLE The home screen is a day-by-day timeline of your training — every workout graded, every rest day honest. The Stats screen adds lifetime totals, per-exercise charts, records, and a training calendar. HIGHLIGHT CLIPS TETSUO keeps a short rolling buffer in memory while you train and offers up to three 4–6 second highlight clips of your best reps after each workout. Save the ones you like to Photos, share them, or dismiss them — nothing is kept unless you say so. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your iPhone. Pose detection is fully on-device, no video is ever recorded to disk during your workout, and your workout history never leaves your phone. The camera is a sensor, not a surveillance system. SMART ABOUT THE REAL WORLD • Pick up your phone mid-workout? TETSUO pauses and quietly re-arms when you set it back down. • Step out of frame for a set? The summary flags the gap so you can log it honestly. • Rest as long as you need — an optional rest target gives you a single soft ping. • The screen stays awake for the whole session. No subscriptions required to count reps. No account. No wearable. Just you, your phone, and the work.
