Read full descriptionHide full description
Nafith is an accessibility app designed to make communication easier for Deaf and hard-of-hearing users by connecting them with sign language interpreters through live video calls. With a single tap, users can connect with an available sign language interpreter for a direct video call or communicate with an employee from a government or private organization through a three-way call supported by an interpreter. This helps users complete transactions, ask about services, and communicate more independently. Key features of Nafith: • Connect directly with sign language interpreters during interpreter availability. • Make three-way video calls between the user, interpreter, and a representative from a government or private organization. • Discover accessible facilities, services, locations, and discounts available for persons with disabilities across Oman. • Browse facilities by governorate and category, including government, tourism, and entertainment services. • Request an interpreter for an in-person visit and track the status of the request. • Stay updated with the latest news and information related to interpretation and accessibility services. • Full Arabic and English interface support. Nafith also enables interpreters to receive and respond to interpretation requests, while participating organizations can manage communication requests related to their services.
