Kaff is like Goodreads, but for coffee shops. Log the spots you visit, rate them, and say what you really thought. Follow friends and fellow coffee people, and your feed turns into a running list of where everyone’s drinking and what’s actually worth the trip. Coffee, matcha & everything else counts. Rate the cortado, the ceremonial matcha, the weird lavender latte. If it’s in a cup, it belongs here. WHAT YOU CAN DO Rate and review independent coffee shops with honest takes Follow friends and see their latest finds in your feed Build your coffee passport, a record of every shop you’ve been to Browse the map to see what’s near you Add a shop that’s missing so it’s here for everyone WHY KAFF Kaff started as a group chat called Latte Raters, where friends swapped coffee shop finds. Then one of them asked, “why don’t you just build it?” So we did. It’s all about independent shops, so you won’t find a large chain. The ratings come from real people with real opinions. Made in SoCal. Pull up a seat.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Toggle at none against Kaff's shown. Toggle also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Kaff's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Kaff against 5.0 for Toggle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kaff has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Kaff ships an update monthly, Toggle weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
