Stop procrastinating in 5 minutes. Not 25. Not "when you feel like it." Five. Every productivity app assumes you already know how to start. Just 5min doesn't. It's built on one idea: the hardest part of any task isn't finishing it, it's beginning it — and five minutes is short enough that your brain stops negotiating. Tap start. Commit to five minutes. That's the whole app. WHY FIVE MINUTES WORKS Traditional Pomodoro timers ask for 25 minutes upfront. If you're procrastinating, avoiding a task, or living with ADHD, 25 minutes feels like a wall. Five minutes doesn't. It's small enough to say yes to on your worst day — and once you're in motion, most sessions run long on their own. The app tracks this: users routinely turn single five-minute sessions into hours of real work, one small commitment at a time. Just 5min is a deadline, not a countdown you can pause and forget. Once you start, the clock runs — even if you background the app — so the five minutes you committed to are the five minutes you get. BUILT FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY FAIL, NOT HOW YOU WISH YOU WORKED Streaks that forgive you. Miss a day and most habit trackers just reset to zero, so you give up. Just 5min gives you freeze days — real forgiveness built into the streak, not a guilt trip. Life happens; your streak doesn't have to die because of it. Distraction Log. After a session, log what actually pulled your focus — social media, messaging, a video, anything. Over a week, the app shows you exactly what's stealing your attention, so you can fix the real problem instead of guessing. Session history and pattern breakdowns. See when your focus actually lands — which hours, which days, which moods produce your best sessions. Tag sessions, add notes, and start noticing your own patterns instead of assuming them. 17 badges that mean something. Earned for consistency, not for opening the app. Share them straight to your socials. 8 themes, custom sounds. Make the timer yours — it's a screen you'll look at every day. FOCUS SHIELD — BLOCK THE APPS THAT DERAIL YOU Starting a session is one thing. Staying in it is another. Focus Shield locks the apps that pull you away — social, messaging, video — for the length of your session, using Apple's Screen Time framework. No willpower required; the block is the willpower. CALENDAR SYNC Every finished session writes itself straight to your calendar. No manual logging, no separate time-tracking app — your focus history lives where your schedule already lives. WEEKLY RECAP Every Sunday, a clear breakdown of your week: total focus time, best day, longest streak, and where your distractions came from. Not a wall of charts — a two-minute read that actually tells you something. HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN WIDGETS + LIVE ACTIVITIES Start a session, see it counting down on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and check your streak from the Home Screen without opening the app. WHO THIS IS FOR Students cramming for exams who need to just open the textbook already People with ADHD or task-initiation struggles who need a smaller "yes" Freelancers, writers, and side-project builders who procrastinate on their own work more than anyone else's Anyone who has ever opened a 25-minute Pomodoro app, stared at it, and closed it again JUST 5MIN PLUS unlocks custom durations from 5 to 180 minutes, full unlimited history, 4 freeze days plus streak alerts, all 17 badges, all 8 themes, all sounds, Focus Shield, Calendar Sync, session notes and mood tags, pattern breakdowns, and a custom daily goal. A free trial is available on eligible plans — cancel anytime, in two taps, right in Settings. Start your first five minutes today. The task you've been avoiding is smaller than you think.

About

TimeTurtle

Features

TimeTurtle is an ADHD task timer and visual day planner. Every task shows real clock times, and time's up rings even on silent. Free, with no account, no ads, and no streaks. Made for time blindness, by someone with ADHD, for ADHD and other neurodivergent brains. List what you want to do, give each task a few minutes, and tap play. Tochi, a little turtle, walks with you while your time runs down. TimeTurtle keeps track of time, so you don't have to. RINGS EVEN ON SILENT With alarms allowed, TimeTurtle rings when time's up, even on silent or in a Focus. Tap Done when you're finished, or Stop to quiet it. If you're still in the zone, it checks in again every 5 minutes until you're ready. TOCHI WALKS WITH YOU Tochi walks along a calm shoreline while your time runs down, the sand drifting past, and when time's up Tochi walks up onto a rock and sits to wait. A bar empties as time passes, so you can see your time at a glance. Every task you time for 2 minutes or more earns pebbles, one for every 5 minutes on the timer, up to 12. Pebbles level Tochi up through twelve ranks with new shell colors, and levels never go down. Pick easy, medium, or hard for how fast Tochi levels up, and chase a new best day. Timed tasks add to Tochi's long walk too: the next place grows closer on your horizon, with new places to reach as you go, each with a friend to meet and something to discover. Earning pebbles, reaching a new place or level, or setting a record gets a big, loud celebration. NO ACCOUNT. NO STREAKS. NOTHING PILES UP. There's nothing to sign up for, no streaks to keep, and no red badges. At zero, TimeTurtle waits and counts up. It never jumps ahead or makes you feel bad, and nothing moves without you. A VISUAL DAY PLANNER "15 minutes" is abstract. "until 4:06" is real. Every task shows its clock times, and your whole list shows when you'll be all done. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN, LOCK SCREEN, AND WRIST Your timer lives on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island, in Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and on your Apple Watch. Tap Done, +5 min, or Pause without opening the app, from the Lock Screen, a Control Center control, or the Action Button. Add TimeTurtle to your watch face to see your task and its time all day. TAKE A BREAK WITH TOCHI Tochi's 5, 10, or 15 minute breaks rest your eyes, guide your breathing, and show gentle desk stretches, then bring you back to your task. Breaks earn pebbles too. BUILT FOR REAL DAYS - Type "Laundry 15" and you have a 15-minute task. - Swipe right to save a task for Later. Swipe left to delete, with undo. - Save tasks you repeat, like a morning routine, and load them all onto Today at once. Start with ten ready-made routines, pin your favorites, and set a time to finish by. - Give tasks a color to group them your way. - Did it while doing something else? Mark it done, no timer needed. - Back after a few days away? One tap moves Today's list to Later. - Not sure where to start? Let TimeTurtle pick for you. - Recap shows planned vs. spent time, without judgment. EASY ON THE EYES Calm colors in light and dark (or pick one), support for large text, and gentle motion that respects Reduce Motion.
